Letter: Lindsey House Chelsea, 1849 Jan. 15.

The artist writes to a dealer friend listing the prints he is sending "according to order." He indicates which of the lettered or unlettered proofs are better for the enclosed works Belshazzar's Feast, Fall of Babylon, and Fall of Niniveh. Contrary to his rule, he is sending both versions of the latter "for your customer to choose from." Also included are Marcus Curtius, and the Eve of the Deluge. The prints "will leave by the N.W. railway this even."
